This is my friend Jana and her sweet baby Alyssa. 

I used Jana's Canon 5D and she editing these (since she is a professional, and is great with lightroom and I am as you know not) 

I really loved doing this, it was powerful for me.

This was a ton of fun but lots of work, these pictures look way lighter and a little faded once I put them on the blog, In my photo program they are richer in color. (not sure why)

Rachel Lyn

Today I got to do my second ever newborn photo shoot, to be honest I was disappointed, Rachel is an adorable little girl and was so sweet, but it was a yucky weather day and the light was just not there! I tried to lighten the pictures in this program but they are a bit grainy the down side to living here is the cold really makes for less out door photo opportunities, Newborn babies are hard to take photos of!!! (I have once again learned) I think I need to shoot for 1 week old babies this is the second time the baby has been almost three weeks old and they move soooo much! Rachel was so fun to practice on Thanks Rebecca for letting me play!

Ok- so here are some of my very favorite shots, I just LOVE my little Ryan kicking his little toes in the leaves, he was just so adorable!!! It was so much fun  to do this today! 

Fall Pictures of the Kids

Ok- so Ryan was not working with me at all!!! 
But Ethan sure was cute!!! and working very well with me- thanks Ethan!!!

I took these pictures in the yard of a lady who lives up the street from me, I drive past this tree at least four times a day. (See the beautiful orange tree in the background) I love the colors of this tree and for the three falls that we have lived here I always thought it would be a beautiful background for pictures. Well this is our last fall here, so I got my camera and took some great picture of the kids (great because I love these faces!!!).
